Academic Life & Student Transitions

A path for success

Lehigh University students are bright, inquisitive, accomplished, well-rounded, driven and goal-oriented, but the university experience can present an entirely new set of challenges and expectations. We provide numerous support services to help each student succeed academically and develop as individuals.

The process begins with the first-year orientation program, which is designed and administered by the Office of the First-Year Experience (OFYE) and provides students with the resources and support they need to make a successful transition to college life. Once students are part of the campus community, they may need additional help navigating the new and more demanding academic path. Numerous resources are available through the Office of Academic Life and Student Transitions.
