Community Service

We offer a wide variety of opportunities to become involved with the local community and beyond. We coordinate the efforts of thousands of Lehigh volunteers who help more than 100 local agencies, and whether you’re interested in working with neighborhood schoolchildren, volunteering at the Lehigh Valley’s public radio station, or helping maintain a local nature preserve, we can help find the perfect opportunity for you.

During the intersession and pacing breaks, many students participate in SERVE trips, traveling to locations around the country to respond to pressing community needs. Lehigh and the surrounding community also come together in annual events like the Spooktacular, Spring Fling and the highly successful Move-Out Collection Drive.

The President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll has recognized the Community Service Office’s exemplary service efforts and service to America’s communities.
