The Office of Multicultural Affairs serves as an advocate, resource and source of support for students of color and their families at Lehigh University and beyond.
We build partnerships with various colleges, offices and organizations at the university to build an inclusive, multicultural community in which students can explore their cultural understanding and broaden their level of self-awareness.
Through educational programs, cultural events and collaborative efforts with students, faculty and staff, we create and encourage opportunity for cross-cultural exchange and expression.
The Kaleidoscope peer education program selects and trains undergraduate and graduate students to facilitate social justice programs in residence halls, Greek houses and elsewhere across campus. These dynamic students are passionate about issues of multiculturalism, social justice and equity, and are well-equipped to educate their peers about a wide range of topics.
We also have a resource room for students called the “M” Room that promotes dialog and community among students, faculty and staff. More than 20 culturally based clubs and organizations plan and host programs and events for the Lehigh community there.
