The 150th meeting of college football’s most-played rivalry comes to historic Yankee Stadium as Lehigh will square off against Lafayette in New York on November 22, 2014.

Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event went on sale for Lehigh season ticket holders on November 1 and now, Lehigh alumni, faculty and staff will have an opportunity to buy tickets to this historic contest beginning Monday, November 18. Prior to purchasing tickets, all fans, including Lehigh alumni, faculty and staff, are encouraged to visit www.lehighsports.com/rivalry150 for additional information on the 150th Lehigh-Lafayette game, including information on tickets, transportation, tailgating and more.

Alumni should visit www.lehighsports.com/rivalry150 and click on the FAQ page to obtain the promotional code that coincides with their graduation decade. Codes will be posted November 17 in advance of the November 18 on-sale date. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. online at LehighTickets.com (enter the code in the yellow PROMOTION box at the top/left) and at 10 a.m. by phone 610-7LU-GAME (758-4263), or in person at the Stabler Arena Box Office. Sales are expected to be strong so please expect high call volume in the box office.

Online purchases are recommended. Lehigh faculty and staff members should use the promotional code that was emailed on Friday, Nov. 15 to all faculty and staff.

Ticket sales have been very heavy since Nov. 1 to season ticket holders. All Legends Suite Club, Delta Sky360 Suite, and the Premium section tickets have been purchased. A limited number of Premium tickets are still held for faculty and staff but are likely to sell quickly on Monday. If a certain price level gives the message: "Unable to secure seats in this Price Level," please choose another section or ticket price, or try buying in a smaller quantity and splitting up your group. Online sales are recommended based on call volume.

Lehigh has worked with Lafayette and the New York Yankees to create a number of affordable options for all fans to attend this historic game. A large demand is expected for this historic event and all Lehigh friends and family are encouraged to attend.

"It's incredibly exciting to be playing the 150th Lehigh-Lafayette game at Yankee Stadium," said Lehigh head coach Andy Coen. "There are always expectations to that game, really right from the beginning of the season. It's really an event, not necessarily just a game. It'll be certainly very special playing the game in Yankee Stadium and everything that will go on around that game. It will be exciting for the students, the alumni, the fans and the players on both teams. It's going to be an exciting year, without a doubt."

The Lehigh-Lafayette game is being played at a neutral site for just the second time, and the first since 1891. Lafayette will be the designated home team. Tickets purchased through Lafayette will be on the first base/right field side of Yankee Stadium. Tickets purchased through Lehigh will be on the third base/left field side of the stadium. Tickets will also be available directly through the Yankees, sprinkled in both Lehigh and Lafayette sections. Please note that fees may be higher if purchased through The New York Yankees/Ticketmaster compared to those purchased through Lehigh.
