Lecture by Surgery Junkies author cancelled
An on-campus lecture by Victoria Pitts, Ph.D., the author of the forthcoming book Surgery Junkies and an associate professor of sociology at Queens College, has been cancelled.
The lecture entitled “Extreme Makeover: The Cultural Boundaries of Cosmetic Surgery” was supposed to take place on March 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Sinclair Auditorium.
