Steffen is featured speaker at Cornell

Steffen, university chaplain and professor of religion studies, recently moderated a workshop was invited to speak on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the dedication of Annabelle Taylor Hall, Cornell's interfaith center, and he spoke on "The Moral Meaning of Demonic Religion."

Steffen was also the guest speaker at Cornell's Sage Chapel during his visit.

In addition, Steffen delivered a plenary address titled "Moral and Civic Education: Reflections On Teaching the Death Penalty," at the annual meeting of the Society for Values in Higher Education. Steffen shared the plenary session with Justin Brooks, a professor and legal scholar at the Western California School of Law and director of the California Innocence Project.
