Imam Feisal, Scott Turow lectures canceled

The public lecture by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf scheduled for Monday night, Oct. 31, has been canceled due to the power outage affecting Lehigh's campus.

In addition, the Tresolini Lecture featuring Scott Turow that had been scheduled for Tuesday night, Nov. 1, also has been canceled.

Imam Feisal, the Muslim leader who was at the center of the controversy to build an Islamic Center near Ground Zero in New York City,was to speak on the topic, "The Evolution of an American Islam."

Turow, an attorney and best-selling author of Presumed Innocent and eight other books, was to speak on “Confessions of a Death Penalty Agnostic.”

Plans are to reschedule each speaker at later dates.
