This whole poll is upsetting to me because most studies will show that it is not the obesity itself but the stress associated with obesity that cause health problems. The additional fact that we are more concerned with food and consumption rather than fitness is disturbing and alienating because, contrary to popular opinion, overeating is not nearly as much of a problem as lack of exercise. Junk food should be monitored, yes, but not to eradicate obesity, to eradicate malnutrition. Lastly, Michelle Obama's campaign "against childhood obesity" is disgusting and teaches children that their bodies are wrong from a very early age, an outlook that will cause them to develop the far more prevalent (under) eating disorder. Some people are naturally larger, this is not a cause for national alarm and we need to be targeting personal ability, not size.
