I have been activly invoved in a Haitian Hospital, Sacre Couer in Milot (near Cape Hattiain. Following the earthquake, thanks to heroic volunteer effort, Sacre Couer has grown to be the largest reference hospital on the Island for orthopedic work. The Navy is still flying people in and out every day and the Hospital now has its own helo service which has been donated by the French. Under the charter of Crudem, Sacre Couer is run by the Boston chapter of the Order of Malta, a 900 year old Catholic organization founded to help the sick and the poor. My wife is Chair of the Boston Group. The Lehigh family can be sure 100% of all contribtions to Haiti made through Crudem.org will go to the Hosipital effort. Based on my visits to Haiti, sadly, I can not disagree with the basic premise above. However, the immediate need is continued medical and food releif and Crudem is a wonderful tool. How can I send this message to the Lehigh Family?
