Summer Housing

Residence hall housing during the summer sessions may be leased by any student who is registered for classes, or is a current Lehigh student working on or near campus (written confirmation of employment will be required).

Applications are available beginning on April 1. Summer housing will be provided in the Brodhead House. Summer session housing rates per person are $555 per session for double occupancy and $635 per session for single occupancy. Single accommodations are limited and not guaranteed. Rooms will be assigned based on the application and deposit date(s). All rates include daily custodial service to public areas, staffing by Gryphons, an Assistant Director of Residence Life, and security patrols.

If you have a medical or special housing need that the Office of Residential Services should be aware of with regards to your housing placement, please indicate this information on your Housing Application/Contract. Additionally, please be sure to follow all necessary steps to properly document your housing need by April 30th. A meal plan is required for all students living in summer housing. The cost of the meal plan is $525 per session. Students will be able to select from one of two different meal plans. All meals on the meal plan will be served in the Brodhead House Dining Hall. Both meal plan options will include Dining Dollars which can be used at Common Grounds in Rauch Business Center. Terms of Lease

  1. The Residence Hall Summer Housing Contract is a binding agreement to reside in and be financially responsible for both residence hall housing and the summer meal plan through the close of the session(s) for which housing has been contracted.
  2. A student who voluntarily withdraws from the University or moves out of the Residence Halls after check-in is obligated to the full session charge. The meal plan will be prorated based on the date of withdrawal.
