Residence hall housing during the summer sessions may be leased by any student who is registered for classes, or is a current Lehigh student working on or near campus (written confirmation of employment will be required).
Applications are available beginning on April 1. Summer housing will be provided in the Brodhead House. Summer session housing rates per person are $530 per session for double occupancy and $610 per session for single occupancy. Single accommodations are limited and not guaranteed. Rooms will be assigned based on the application and deposit date(s). All rates include daily custodial service to public areas, staffing by Gryphons, an Assistant Director of Residence Life, and security patrols.
If you have a medical or special housing need that the Office of Residential Services should be aware of with regards to your housing placement, please indicate this information on your Housing Application/Contract. Appropriate documentation from your attending physician must be received at Residential Services no later than April 30th in order for your housing accommodation to be met.
New for Summer 2013 is a required meal plan for all students living in summer housing. The cost of the meal plan is $525 per session. This meal plan will offer 11 meals per week: Breakfast: Monday-Friday, Dinner: Monday-Thursday, and Brunch: Saturday-Sunday. All meals on the meal plan will be served in the Brodhead House Dining Hall. The meal plan also includes $50 Dining Dollars which can be used at Common Grounds in Rauch Business Center. In order to reserve your space in summer housing, please complete the Residence Hall Summer Housing and Meal Plan Application/Contract. Please note that this application/contract requires you to pay a $75 Summer Housing Deposit, payable by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express) or E-check. Please do not fill out the Application/Contract until you are able to pay the $75 Housing Deposit. Terms of Lease
- The Residence Hall Summer Housing Contract is a binding agreement to reside in and be financially responsible for both residence hall housing and the summer meal plan through the close of the session(s) for which housing has been contracted.
- A deposit of $75 is required to reserve housing. The deposit is non-refundable except when Residential Services is notified prior to your session(s) check-in that your plans to attend classes or work at Lehigh have been canceled.
- A student who voluntarily withdraws from the University or moves out of the Residence Halls after check-in is obligated to the full session charge. The meal plan will be prorated based on the date of withdrawal.
