Donald F. Textor 1968
Donald F. Textor graduated from Lehigh in 1968 with a B.A. in international relations from the College of Arts and Sciences. While an undergraduate, Textor was on the football and lacrosse teams. He was also a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Textor is portfolio manager of the Dorset Energy Fund and partner of Knott Partner's LLC. Textor retired from Goldman Sachs & Company after a 21-year career with the firm. A partner and managing director, Textor was also the senior security analyst for domestic integrated oils and exploration and production companies. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 1980, he was an oil analyst with First Boston.
Textor is a member of the National Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts. He has served on the board of directors for EOG Resources, Inc. (formerly Enron Oil & Gas Company), the EOG Compensation and International Strategy Committees, and the board of Trilogy Energy Trust Co.
Textor maintains close ties to his alma mater as a member of the Asa Packer Society. He has also supported athletics at Lehigh, and is a longtime volunteer. Textor established the Donald F. Textor ’68 Endowed Scholarship Fund. Textor and his wife, Elaine, live in Locust Valley, New York, and have three children.
