David G. Williams 1950

David G. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University in 1950. While at Lehigh, he was a member of the Mustard & Cheese Drama Society. Following graduation, Williams began his career as an audio-video facilities engineer for the National Broadcasting Company in New York City. In 1962, following three years as a broadcast studio facilities engineer for Engleman & Co., Inc., Williams joined Page Communications Engineers, Inc. in Washington, D.C. As a communications systems project engineer for Page Communications, he traveled throughout the world, working in Australia, Japan, Antarctica, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Williams established a charitable remainder unitrust through Lehigh, and also the unrestricted David G. Williams Fund in honor of Dean Emeritus John J. Karakash. His fond memories of the former professor were instrumental in his decision. Williams passed away in 2002.
