Letter to alumni: A little change will do you good

I thrive on change. Fortunately, here at the Alumni Association, nothing stays the same for long, with new ideas and new events and programs for 2014.

You may have noticed that we are starting to retool our online community, updating our navigation to make our alumni website an even-easier-to-use, one-stop-shop for staying up-to-date with Lehigh. We are making it a breeze for you to find events, connect with alumni with the same interests, and discover the latest perks that Alumni Relations can offer you. But there’s more to come, as the site will be soon be getting a whole new look! We can’t wait to unveil it to you when we launch the new site over the next few months.

Change is coming too, to the Greek Alumni Council, which is working hard to represent the interests of all Greek Alumni. It has been a pleasure working with GAC President, Howard Foltz ’77, and I’m looking forward to continued progress as the GAC leadership changes. I hope you will join us and take advantage of the Greek Alumni Council webinar series which is hosted for everyone within the Lehigh Greek Community. The next session, on November 6, is focused on fostering successful student experiences within the fraternity and sorority communities on campus.

And don’t forget: the Lehigh-Lafayette Game and Telecasts are coming up! And soon we’ll be looking for your change – spare change, that is – for the Lehigh-Lafayette Challenge. (Great segue, huh?) The challenge to see which school can rally the most donors kicks off November 13, and we need your help to beat “that other school.” Visit llchallenge.com for details, and to help ensure we bring that trophy home for the third year in a row.

Sincerely,

Robert W. Wolfenden
Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations
