Introducing the Caruso Wrestling Complex
An Outstanding Training, Coaching, and Practice Facility
Built in 1942, Grace Hall is one of the most historic buildings on campus and is the home of Lehigh University’s fabled and championship wrestling team. Because of the dedication and support of alumni and friends, the upper floors have been transformed into a wrestling complex that is second to none.
Named after Lehigh wrestling great Michael Caruso ’67, Lehigh’s only three-time NCAA champion, the renovated complex is a training and practice ground for Lehigh athletes and will also host young grapplers attending summer wrestling camps. The Complex was officially dedicated on September 27, 2013. Please enjoy a gallery of photos, an article about the dedication, and a video that highlights Lehigh’s wrestling history that was shown at the dedication.
The Caruso Wrestling Complex in Grace Hall includes:
• The Hall of Champions
• Wrestling practice mezzanine with three full-size mats
• Sport specific weight and fitness training rooms
• State-of-the-art real-time video playback equipment
• Offices and meeting rooms
• Team room and lockers
• Team lounge and study space
