Annual Lehigh/Community Expo
Community and Regional Affairs and Student Activities sponsor the Annual Community & Club EXPO held the first day of class each fall semester. The EXPO showcases services and products of local merchants, offers opportunities to sample a wide range of traditional and ethnic foods, and introduces students to a variety of Lehigh clubs and local programs. It is a perfect opportunity for Lehigh students, faculty and staff to get to know their surrounding community.
If you are a merchant or local organization and would like to be featured in the EXPO, please complete the online registration form. Clubs and campus organizations should register through the Student Activities Office or call 610-758-6670.
For additional information, you can download the brochure.
Faculty/Staff Day of Caring
Day of Caring is a program held once each semester to engage faculty/staff volunteers with various social service agencies near campus. Agencies benefit by getting much needed work done for the cost of materials. Volunteers gain an understanding and appreciation of local agencies.
Broughal Middle School
One essential way Lehigh fulfills its mission of research, teaching and service is through a partnership with Broughal Middle School as part of the Community School initiative. Lehigh is helping Broughal meet the needs of students through academic support and enrichment programs, tutoring, coordinated health and wellness, and enhanced parent education. The program serves students and families by bringing all of these critical areas into the school, which children and families view as a safe and nurturing environment.
