CBE students recognized for their achievements

Lehigh University's 34th Honors Convocation held April 5 recognized more than 525 juniors and seniors for their academic achievements. On behalf of the trustees, faculty, and staff, President Alice P. Gast welcomed students and their families to the convocation, where the campus community celebrated undergraduate students who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.6 or have achieved academic awards.  

Immediately after the convocation, the honorees and families from the College of Business and Economics were invited to a College Honors Reception in Rauch Business Center. From departmental and discipline-specific academic honors to CBE leadership awards, students were further recognized for their outstanding accomplishments.

More than 60 students received awards during the ceremony.

Alana Opitz, a double major in supply chain management and marketing, told her fellow students at Lehigh's Honors Convocation that their grades were “not the end all, be all. You are after something more. Ask yourself what that is."
