Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley

Stroll from campus to trendy boutiques, American and ethnic eateries and retail areas, featuring places like the Banana Factory Community Arts Center and Gallery; Touchstone Theatre; and Godfrey Daniels, a folk-music coffeehouse.

Bethlehem is most unique with two great downtown shopping districts. Lehigh's campus lies adjacent to Bethlehem's SouthSide district, where you will find a hub of activity on 3rd, 4th, and New Streets with an eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Just a short distance over the Lehigh River, Bethlehem's Historic district has a late 19th century appearance. Strolling Main, Broad, and New Streets, you'll find unique boutiques, intimate eateries, and beautifully-restored colonial buildings.
