Ethan Spielholz '13

Skillman, NJ
Major: Accounting
Minor: Spanish

"My advice to future Lehigh students is to participate in some type of study abroad program! I studied abroad for a semester in Madrid, Spain and I tell anyone I meet that it was the best decision of my life. Not only did I finish my Spanish minor but I fully immersed myself in the culture by speaking the language as often as I could, made Spanish friends and even practiced different eating habits. I also traveled to many different countries and had so many unique experienced that never would have been possible in the United States. To reiterate, study abroad! It will be the experience of a lifetime."
What was your favorite Lehigh "moment"?
When #15 seeded Lehigh beat #2 seeded Duke!
What was your favorite course?
My favorite course was the Cultural Evolution of Latin America. I found it to be essential to my Spanish minor.
What are your career aspirations?
After becoming a certified public accountant, I would like to become a full-time employee of a Big Four Accounting Firm. After working there for a few years, I will then assess what opportunities arise inside or outside the firm and move forward with my career.
