Jillian Forbes '14

Rye Brook, NY
Major: Management
Minor: Psychology and Mass Communication
Advice to future Lehigh students: "My advice would be to live these 4 yours to the fullest, make as many friends as possible, and try to learn from every experience, because you never know who you’ll run into later in life and what skills might come in handy."

What are your career aspirations?
I would like to work in the media/communications industry, with a focus on publicity within the television sector.

What was your favorite Lehigh moment?
My favorite Lehigh moment was when I joined my sorority during my freshman year. I have learned so much from the members of my chapter and my college experience would never have been what it was without them. The exposure to so many different people has broadened my awareness and taught me a great deal about acceptance and friendship.

What is the most helpful experience as you plan your career?
Make use of all the events that the Lehigh faculty offer, because networking is needed no matter what career aspirations you may have and as the saying goes, “practice makes perfect.”
