How long will it take to complete the Lehigh Master of Science programs?
The MSAIA program takes one academic calendar year to complete (if background courses have been taken). MS ECO may take only one academic calendar year to complete, but usually requires three semesters. The PhD program normally takes a minimum of four years. The MSAF program may be completed in one academic year, but normally takes two.

How may credits are in the Lehigh Master of Science programs?
MSAIA, MS ECO: 30 credits.
MSAF: 30 credits
PhD (with Masters): 48 credits
PhD (without Masters): 72 credits

What are your admission requirements?

When will I attend classes?
There is a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend classes, with classes primarily in the daytime, meeting twice/week.

What is your minimum GMAT or GRE score?
Performance on the GMAT or GRE is a good indicator of success in the program. While we do not have a minimum score for either test, we look for strong quantitative ability as evidenced in the mathematical portion of the GMAT or GRE. Most of our students score in the 70th percentile or above on their total score, a good measure of the strength of your peers.

Is work experience required?
There is no work experience required.
 
What factors does the Admissions Committee consider when evaluating my application?
Each applicant presents a unique skill set for consideration. Student applications are carefully evaluated on their academic ability, motivation, maturity and prospects for completing graduate studies successfully. Evaluated areas also include past academic performance, leadership skills, accomplishments, and ability to contribute to the learning environment.

How can I gauge my chances for admission to the Lehigh MS/PhD programs?
The Graduate Programs Admissions Office will schedule an individual appointment with students to discuss their credentials,  goals, and the opportunities available as a Lehigh MS/PhD student. Does Lehigh accept transfer credits to the Lehigh MS/PhD programs?
On case-by-case only per approval of the Program Director and the Office of the Registrar. None are accepted in the MSAIA program.

How do I arrange for a campus visit?
The Graduate Programs Admissions staff can arrange a campus visit for students. While at Lehigh, students may opt to meet with an admissions counselor, tour the college or university, meet current students, visit a class, or schedule a formal interview. Financing

What are the tuition costs?
Tuition for the 2013-2014 academic year are listed on the tuition webpage.

What types of financial aid are available?
The College of Business & Economics administers its own financial aid to students, depending on the specific program, in the form of teaching assistantships, graduate assistantships, research assistantships, scholarships, and fellowships. College-awarded financial aid is based upon merit. Undergraduate GPA, test scores, and in some cases, work experience, are considered when awarding this type of financial aid. There is no minimum test score for consideration, but most students receiving aid score above 600 on the GMAT. Information on federal financial aid may be obtained through Lehigh University’s Office of Financial Aid.

I am reimbursed by my employer for tuition. Does Lehigh offer tuition deferment?
Tuition deferment is available for students whose employers reimburse their tuition. Students must fill out the deferment form for each semester in which they participate. A $50 fee per term applies.

Must I submit my application documents in one package?
The only document that needs to be mailed is your transcript. All other documents can be submitted online. Transcripts are held on file until an application is complete, at which time it is submitted for evaluation to the Admissions Committee.
