Owner
Brey-Krause Manufacturing Company

"It was impressive to realize that even though you've been in business for 25 years, you don't know everything. Each class more than paid for itself with the gains I've gotten from what I've learned."

How has the Lehigh MBA made a difference for your company?
In each and every course that I've taken I've walked away with projects that I could implement right away. I thought it would be really great if I could take some of my company's problems (which I identified through the coursework) and hone in on them with the professor's help, so I did an independent study on transportation and logistics. It really had an amazing impact on reducing our costs; I would conservatively say that it dropped costs at least 20 percent.

What are the largest non-academic benefits of the Lehigh MBA?
I'm really impressed by how sharp the other students in the program are. The other thing that struck me is that many of them work for larger corporations, so it was very interesting for me as a small business owner to have my horizons broadened by what they do. I work on teams with people who may be accountants, engineers, or physical therapists. The diversity in the experience base adds a lot to the program, too.
