Mr. Belair co-founded Urban Outfitters in 1970 and has been a Principal at The ZAC Group, performing financial advisory services, since 1989. Mr. Belair serves as President of Balfour Maclaine Corporation. He served as Principal at Morgan Stanley and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the international offices and subsidiaries at Goldman Sachs. He served as Managing Director of Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated.
Mr. Belair Co-founded Urban Outfitters Inc., a public retailer and wholesaler operating under the brand names Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People in 1970 and has been its Director since its incorporation in 1976.
Mr. Belair has been a Director of Hudson City Bancorp Inc., Hudson City MHC and Hudson City Savings Bank - one of the 50 largest banks in the United States - since February 24, 2004. Mr. Belair serves as a Director of Balfour Maclaine Corporation. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lehigh University and earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance where he was awarded a Joseph Wharton Fellowship.
Mr. Belair is a also a Certified Public Accountant and has established a career in financial advisory services.
