Mark W. Jaindl is currently the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Bank Incorporated and its wholly-owned subsidiary American Bank, which he founded in 1996 with six other investors. American Bank is a $500 million full service “community bank” with one office located in the Lehigh Valley, PA and is recognized as one of the pioneers in Internet banking with customers in all 50 states and numerous foreign countries. Mr. Jaindl was recognized for his work in establishing American Bank and was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young in 2003. In addition to his position with American Bank, Mr. Jaindl is the principal shareholder in a number of real estate entities with residential and commercial holdings in the Lehigh Valley.
During the period from 1991 through 1995, Mr. Jaindl served in various capacities with American Holdings, Inc., including the President of its wholly owned subsidiary, Northcorp Realty Advisors, Inc. Northcorp Realty Advisors, Inc. was an RTC contractor headquartered in Dallas, Texas and was responsible for the management and disposition of over $1 billion in assets for the Resolution Trust Corporation.
From 1982 to 1991 and again from 1995 to 1997, Mr. Jaindl served as the Chief Financial Officer of Jaindl Farms, an agribusiness engaged in raising, processing and selling turkeys and the farming of over 12,000 acres and Jaindl Land Company, a land development company responsible for the development and sales of commercial, industrial and residential properties in the Lehigh Valley.
Mr. Jaindl serves on the Board of Directors of Sageworth Trust Company. Sageworth Trust has assets under management of approximately $2 billion and provides fiduciary, investment and family office services to clients located through the United States.
Mr. Jaindl also served on the Board of Directors of Massachusetts Fincorp, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, Massachusetts Co-operative Bank, from May 2000 until its sale in August 2002.
Mr. Jaindl served on the Board of Directors of Pure World, Inc. the holding company of Pure World Botanicals, a manufacturer and distributor of botanical extracts from 1994 to 2001.
From May 2004 until January 2010, Mr. Jaindl served as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Lehigh County Housing Authority, which provides affordable housing programs to over 3,000 families throughout the Lehigh Valley.
Mr. Jaindl also served on the Board of Governors of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, was elected to two terms on the Board of Directors of Parkland School District, and served as a Trustee at DeSales University.
Mr. Jaindl graduated from Lehigh University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics, with a dual major in Finance and Accounting.
Mr. Jaindl resides in Allentown, Pennsylvania with his wife Beth and their two children Zac, a member of Lehigh University's class of 2011 and Julie, a freshman at Johnson and Wales University.
