Lehigh provides a credit evaluation after extending an offer of admission. In order to estimate which courses will transfer to Lehigh, use the following guidelines:
- Lehigh must offer an equivalent course (check our catalog at www.lehigh.edu/catalog).
- The amount of time that the class met must be equal (i.e., credit hours).
- If the course at Lehigh has prerequisites, all prerequisites must be satisfied prior to taking the course.
- Only a grade of "C" or better will transfer.
- Courses in technology and science may require more information and faculty approval before Lehigh awards credit.
The following chart indicates the approximate credit hours needed for each class standing:
7-21 2nd semester freshman
22-38 1st semester sophomore
37-56 2nd semester sophomore
52-72 1st semester junior
67-89 2nd semester junior
82-104 1st semester senior
To receive a Lehigh degree, you must complete at least the last 30 credit hours at Lehigh.
