Salary and placement data for the Lehigh University Class of 2011 was obtained through a survey of the students
who received bachelor’s degrees between January and December 2011. The survey was conducted January
2011–January 2012 by Career Services. Of the 978 bachelor’s degree recipients, 90% responded to the survey.
Typical response to similar surveys conducted at other colleges and universities nationwide is 40–50%.

27% of the respondents from the Lehigh Class of 2011 chose to attend graduate or professional school. This 27% also includes Lehigh President's Scholars.
92% of the Lehigh Class of 2011 candidates who applied to allopathic (M.D.) medical schools with grade point averages (GPAs) of 3.67 or better were accepted. (3.67 was the national average of students accepted into medical schools).
Typically, nationwide 78% of seniors who applied to law school were accepted to one or more schools. At Lehigh, this acceptance rate is approximately 91%.
