Founder's Day

Thank you for joining us on Thursday, October 10, to celebrate Lehigh University's founder, Asa Packer, and recognize the leadership of students, faculty, trustees, alumni, and friends who continue to make Lehigh such a strong, vibrant institution. Attendees overflowed the ceremony in Packer Memorial Church that included the Founder’s Day address given by Lehigh junior Brenda Martinez ’15. Martinez’s speech reflected upon the importance of dialogue and the power of a Lehigh education in today's world.

Despite the drops of the rain, the celebration continued on STEPS lawn where students received their Founder's Day T-shirt, enjoyed a performance by Marching 97, and had food and refreshments.

We invite you to view our gallery of photos from Founder's Day and hope to see you next year!
