The Lehigh Student Experience
Packard Lab Auditorium, Packard Lab
The First-Year Experience provides a “foundation for success” for Lehigh students. Please join Provost Patrick Farrell and Vice Provost for Student Affairs John Smeaton, along with student affairs colleagues, to learn about the opportunities and expectations for student engagement and growth in and outside the classroom. A panel of students will also speak about their experiences and help everyone get into the Lehigh spirit. Danish and coffee will be provided. Reserve your seat in advance.

Historic Bethlehem Tours
Brodhead and Packer Avenue Lot
Learn some local history of Bethlehem. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and tours are $7. Please register in advance. Check in 10 minutes before departure; tickets will not be issued. A 48-hour notice of cancellation is required to receive a refund.

Lehigh Football vs. Fordham

Tickets may be purchased anytime by visiting the Grace Hall Ticket Office on campus, online at www.Lehighsports.com, or by contacting the Athletics Ticket Office at (610) 7LU-GAME with I.D. Reserved chairbacks are $16 and reserved bench seats are $14 for both Lehigh students and families. General admission is $12 per person and free for Lehigh students. Chairback and reserved bench seats are limited, so purchase yours early!

Bethlehem: The Christmas City

Tickets are $20 per person. This locally-produced 30-minute film, narrated by Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation), details how Bethlehem became the quintessential American city. From its beginning in the 1740s, through Bethlehem Steel’s incredible rise and fall, Bethlehem: The Christmas City shows how the residents of this beautiful town have always been one step ahead of the times. After the film, enjoy The Rise & Fall of Bethlehem Steel; a 3/4 of a mile walking tour of SteelStacks with a trained guide. Then hop next door to PBS39 for a studio tour.

Historic Bethlehem Architectural Bus Tour
Brodhead and Packer Avenue Lot
Enjoy a new historical Bethlehem bus tour featuring three centuries of architecture, architects, neighborhoods, and builders of Bethlehem. This bus tour will showcase Bethlehem’s historic mansions, industrial powerhouses, immigrant neighborhoods, and one of the best collections of Germanic Colonial architecture in America. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and tours are $7. Please register in advance. Check in 10 minutes before departure; tickets will not be issued. Historic South Bethlehem Tour
Brodhead and Packer Avenue Lot
This two-hour bus and walking tour features changing South Bethlehem and its relevance to Lehigh. Take in the sights on campus and see the homes of the Lehigh Valley’s one-time “movers and shakers.” Presented by South Bethlehem historian Ken Raniere. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tours are $16. Please register in advance. Check in 10 minutes before departure; tickets will not be issued. Questions? Guided Tour of LUAG Permanent Collection
Zoellner Arts Center, Main and Lower Galleries
Meet Ricardo Viera, professor of art and the curator and director of the Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG), and learn about Lehigh’s Art Educational Laboratory and Teaching Collection. Audubon, Etruscan Bronzes, Edgerton, Prendergast, and many more on display. Space is limited. To reserve your spot for either time, please contact LUAG at (610) 758-3615. Not to be missed!
