The Lehigh Student Experience

Zoellner Arts Center, Baker Hall
Meet President Alice Gast and join Associate Vice Provost and Dean of Students Sharon Basso and Deputy Provost for Faculty Affairs Vincent Munley to learn about the opportunities and expectations for student engagement and growth in and outside the classroom. A panel of students will also speak about their Lehigh experiences. Danish and coffee will be provided. Please register online in advance.

2015 Class Ring Unveiling
Lehigh University Bookstore
The 2015 Class Officers and Herff Jones representative, Jack Mazak, will be at the Bookstore to unveil two exclusive designs for the 2015 Lehigh class ring. The 2015 class rings were designed by the Class Officers and represent the class’ unique memories from their time at Lehigh. Stop by to have your finger sized and to learn from other class of 2015 students about the importance of this Lehigh tradition.

Before heading down to the stadium or taking a bus tour, make sure to stop by the Campus Square Courtyard to hear Matilda & the Swallows perform. Grab a coffee, sandwich, or ice cream in the courtyard and enjoy their music.

Lehigh Football vs. Georgetown

Murray H. Goodman Stadium
Come see the Mountain Hawks take the field against the Georgetown Hoyas. Reserved chairbacks are $17 and reserved bench seats are $15 for both Lehigh students and families. General admission is just $12 per person and free for Lehigh students. Tickets may be purchased here at any time. Chairback and reserved bench seats are limited, so please make your purchase early! If you have further questions about football tickets, please call Athletics at 610-7LU-GAME.

Bethlehem Trolley Tours

Brodhead and Packer Avenue Lot
Learn the local history of Bethlehem on this one-hour trolley tour. The tour is $10. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis by online reservation. Check in 10 minutes before departure. Tickets will not be issued.
 
1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Historic South Bethlehem Tour

Brodhead and Packer Avenue Lot
Learn about the features changing South Bethlehem
and its relevance to Lehigh on this two-hour trolley bus and walking tour, presented by South Bethlehem historian Ken Raniere. Take in the sights on campus and see the homes of the Lehigh Valley’s one-time “movers and shakers.” The tour is $18. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis by online reservation. Check in 10 minutes before departure. Tickets will not be issued.
 
2 P.M. to 3 P.M.
Bethlehem Architectural Trolley Tour

Brodhead and Packer Avenue Lot
Enjoy a historical Bethlehem trolley tour featuring three centuries of architecture, architects, neighborhoods, and builders of Bethlehem. This tour will highlight Bethlehem’s historic mansions, industrial powerhouses, immigrant neighborhoods, and one of the best collections of Germanic Colonial architecture in America. The tour is $10. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis by online reservation. Check in 10 minutes before departure. Tickets will not be issued.
 
2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
The Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel Walking Tour

Stock House Visitors Center at SteelStacks
711 E. First Street, Bethlehem
Learn how blast furnaces worked, why men needed brass checks to get in the gate every morning, and which buildings housed which operation during this on-site walking tour. Get a glimpse of the day-to-day life of a steel worker. The tour is $11. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis by online reservation. Check in 10 minutes before departure. Tickets will not be issued.

Family Photo with Clutch

Murray H. Goodman Stadium
Following the football game, bring your camera and head on down to the field to have your family photo taken with the school mascot, Clutch. Lehigh staff will advise families when to step onto the field for photos.

Guided Tour of LUAG Permanent Collection

Zoellner Arts Center, Main and Lower Galleries
Meet Ricardo Viera, professor of art and the curator/director, and Patricia McAndrew, coordinator of volunteers, of the Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG), and learn about Lehigh’s Art Educational Laboratory and Teaching Collection. Pre-Columbian artifacts, Etruscan Bronzes, Edgerton, Prendergast, and many more on display. Space is limited; reserve your spot in advance by contacting LUAG at (610) 758-3615. Not to be missed!
