Welcome Center
Lehigh University Bookstore
Visit the Welcome Center to receive your free “Proud Lehigh Parent” button! Activity updates, maps, tour sign-ups, class schedule information, and more can also be found at the Welcome Center.

8 A.M. to 4 P.M.

Open Classrooms
Join your son or daughter in class today. Be sure to ask your student for a copy of his or her schedule. General class schedules will be available and posted at the Welcome Center.

9 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Career Services Open House
484 Rauch Business Center, Career Services Suite
It’s recruiting time, and Lehigh students are preparing to meet representatives from a wide variety of corporations, including Fortune 500 companies. Observe the action and meet the staff to find out how your student can make the most of what Career Services has to offer. You’ll also want to check out the Career Services Student Panel from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

10 A.M. to 3 P.M.

Study Abroad and Global Experiences Open House
Coxe Hall, 2nd Floor, 32 Sayre Drive
Stop by the Study Abroad Office to meet the staff, learn about programs and get your questions answered. Refreshments served. Also check out the information sessions being held at noon and 4 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Building.

Lehigh Hosts the 39th Annual Paul Short Run
Goodman Campus
Created for Penske Hall of Fame alum and Athletics Department staff member Paul Short ’34 for his support of the Lehigh Track & Field and Cross Country programs, the Paul Short Run hosts 120 college and 80 high school teams from the U.S. and Canada who compete each year on Lehigh’s cross country course. Campus Walking Tours
Admissions walking tours of the Asa Packer Campus depart from the Alumni Memorial Building Lobby. Reservations are not required. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Study Abroad and Global Experiences Information Sessions
Admissions Theater, Alumni Memorial Building
Learn about the program options available to Lehigh students. These 45-minute presentations, featuring staff and student participants, will provide an overview of the process, followed by Q&A. No RSVP is necessary. For further information, call (610) 758-3351 or visit www.lehigh.edu/studyabroad.

Health and Wellness Center Open House
Johnson Hall, 36 University Drive
Staff will be available to answer your questions. You can also check out the wellness resource room including the self-treatment area, and recharge in a massage chair in the relaxation room.

3 P.M. to 5 P.M.

Career Services Student Panel
Maginnes Hall
Students will discuss their successful career-related experiences; and there will be a demonstration of LUCIE, the online job searching system at Lehigh. Also visit the Career Services Open House between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

4:30 P.M.

Letting Go and Keeping in Touch: A Balance
Maginnes Hall
Meet other Lehigh parents and the Counseling Center staff to discuss ways to maintain effective dialogue with your student around issues such as academic expectations, finances, the college scene, family relationships, and staying connected.

Dinner on Your Own
See Helpful Hints for locations and hours of operation of Lehigh’s eateries or enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Menus are available at the Welcome Center. Additional information about the region can be found here.

5 P.M. to 11 P.M.

Lehigh at the Celtic Classic
Historic Bethlehem
Break out the plaid and enjoy cultural music, food, artisans, and more at the largest Celtic heritage event in North America at the Highland Games and Festival. Visit Lehigh University’s Clan tent at the festival Friday night to meet student volunteers and other parents. For more information about the 3-day event, www.celticfest.org.

6 P.M. to 8 P.M.

Hillel Friday Night Services and Dinner
Hillel House/Jewish Student Center, 216 Summit Street
