Doctoral Hooding Ceremony

Doctoral Degree Candidate Hooding Ceremony
Sunday, May 19, 2013
2:00 p.m., Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center

All doctoral candidates who have completed their requirements by April 26 may participate in this ceremony. Candidates will receive a special letter of invitation. No tickets are required.

Candidates are requested to arrive no later than 1:00 p.m. and check in at the University Events table. Due to the processional format late arrivals cannot be accommodated. A reception will be held in the Butz Lobby immediately following the Hooding Ceremony.

About the Commencement Speaker

Neil Tyson
Bill Nye, executive director of The Planetary Society, but probably best known as Bill Nye the Science Guy, will deliver the address at Lehigh’s 145th commencement ceremony on Monday, May 20, 2013. Nye replaces the previously announced speaker, astrophysicist and author Neil deGrasse Tyson, who is unable to deliver the address. more >

About the Honorary Degree Recipients
