Information on Caps & Gowns
Commencement Requirements
- Submit an application for a degree to the registrar’s Office on or before the due date.
- Register for enough credit-hours to graduate
- Settle due accounts with the bursar’s Office (bring picture ID) on or before the due dates.
Cap, Gown & Hood Information
Academic regalia is handled through the Bookstore. All prospective graduates are expected to wear official Lehigh regalia. To order your cap, gown & hood, go to the following web site: www.herffjones.com/college/lehigh.
Click on “Order a Cap & Gown” to rent your outfit. Pricing information is available on site. Please order before April 4th to avoid a late fee. Regalia may be picked up at the Bookstore beginning Tuesday, May 1st. Following the ceremony, the Bookstore cap & gown return area will be located in the Student Assembly Area next to Goodman Stadium.
Click on “Order Custom Regalia” to purchase regalia and for information on buying your outfit. Orders should be placed no later than March 28th.
Graduation Announcements- Personalized announcements can be ordered on line at www.herff-jones.com/college/lehigh. Traditional announcements are on sale at the Bookstore.
Diploma Frames- Frames are available in the Bookstore for immediate pick-up or may be ordered on line (www.lehigh.bncollege.com) and shipped to your home.
Graduation Gifts- Can be purchased at the Bookstore or online (www.lehigh.bncollege.com).
Return of Academic Caps, Gowns & Hoods
Following the ceremony, the Bookstore cap & gown return area will be located in the Student Assembly area next to Goodman Stadium. Please return regalia within one hour of the ending of the ceremony. Regalia may also be returned to the Bookstore in Campus Square, which is open until 5:00 p.m.
